We distinguish ourselves by blending premium skincare products and resilience.  Inspired by my Health Marketing background and dedication to Mental Wellness, I recognized a need for eco-friendly, natural, high-quality skincare while promoting wellness for underrepresented communities.

Our customers and clients can trust that each product and production is crafted to exceed standards. I am excited to reintroduce Iconic Body Care, a skincare brand I founded in 2021, dedicated to enhancing wellness through community-driven initiatives.


ABOUT THE FOUNDER

I, Tammy Akira White, am the Founder of Iconic Body Care and the #WeWillRockYou2025 Campaign, which fosters connection in Health Media and Wellness Initiatives. My journey began with service and volunteerism to the sick and lingering ill community of Mullins, S.C., through the involvement of multiple organizations. A few are the Afro-Academic Cultural Technological Scientific Olympics (ACT-SO) and Marion County Step Team. I use the Turkish techniques my stepmother taught me to make goat milk soap and body butter. Growing up, I worked alongside my Haitian mother, who owned a candy store in Mullins, S.C., and organized Easter, Halloween, Mother’s Day, and Father's Day events. I grew up making treat bags to distribute to the sick and lingering ill in the community and planning events with my mother. During college summers, I would work with my West African father and Turkish stepmom in North Carolina, where they ran Turkish African Gifts and sold homemade butter, soaps, and artisanal gifts.


My experiences navigating communication channels in Small Towns, Historically Black Colleges and Universities, and Military Culture have shaped my approach to advocacy. I match resources to enhance the user-event experience. As a creative, collaborative individual with a dynamic outlook, I create outreach in potential areas, specifically underrepresented and underserved areas. My interpersonal, problem-solving, flexibility, and adaptability skills have allowed me to recognize the marketing value in social relations based on impact. I create a lasting impact by discovering underrepresented communities, offering high-quality natural products, and addressing health disparities. I build a foundation for community outreach and become a link to match strategies supporting sustainability and community engagement programs.  Iconic identifies trends through awareness campaign planning and coverage. We generate engagement and direction of online community support while generating positive publicity in Health Media Communications in bringing HUD-approved container homes to Mullins, S.C., and surrounding areas.

 

My background in Promotion Communication, Logistics, Public Health, Community Care, and Event Management prepared me to address the challenges in underrepresented communities. I have seen firsthand how natural disasters and inadequate resources have left these communities with insufficient health services and wellness support. With Iconic Body Care, I envision a brand beyond skincare that establishes a platform for wellness, resilience, and advocacy—directly committed to making self-care accessible while driving sustainable community health and recovery initiatives.
